Ok, this method has been spread around pretty good, but taking methods that work and creating a “spin” pays off, if you hit it just right. This is the only reason why some ebooks are actually worth reading.

(Notice I didn’t say “buying”).

Methods explained in ebooks might be bunk, but the idea behind them might not.
This method uses what many of us have read in popular ebooks and does something a little different. This is actually a combined method with great potential for even more spin.

I’m going to explain this method in a fairly general way.

I’m going to leave it up to you to put your own spin on it.

What we are going to do next is to create a simple site using a web template. I’ll provide one that I’ve worked with in the past and has gained conversions for me.

We are going to be looking for free product samples offered through our affiliates and put them all on a web template. This website is going to be one or two pages at the most.

You can make an “about page” or something if you want.

Put your titles in and write a short description. You can also use banners. Depending on the product your pushing, it’s always a good idea to grab a small entry from Wikipedia to add some more content. This helps the visitor feel as if you know the product fairly well and will be more inclined to fill out a zip submit or plugin their email address. After this point you get paid.

TIP: TinyUrl.com is your friend. Take your affiliate link, paste into the TinyUrl box and convert it to a TinyUrl link. Use that link to replace all the affiliate links in your banners and text links. This helps keep people from seeing your affiliate link. This also blocks the referer. Nifty huh?

Ok, so you got your Free Product Site up and going. Congrats, that should have been easy.

We now need to get visitors to the site. If you used my template and did nothing more to the site other than plugin in your own shit, then your not going to want to use adwords or anything. Sorry, the template is just not all that professional looking and you will most likely end up paying more to google than you will ultimately make.

This is where Yahoo Answers can help. Ebooks on this method have spread like crazy and people have been doing it for awhile now with great results. Finding people on Yahoo Answers that are looking for free shit is easy. Just reply to a ongoing question with a decent response/website and you’ll get hits and conversions on your site. This also helps with g00gle searches too.

Craigslist is another great source for promoting free crap.

Another idea would be to write/rewrite a article on something related to product samples/advertising tactics and submit it to a article directory.

You have your free product site, your ‘trap’ is set, now go promote the piss out of it!
