In the past month, there has been a lot of  people catching a ban from ebay. This isn’t a myth or up for debate, it’s happening.

Cookie stuffing on a large scale is going to get you “looked at” by the affiliate. There is just no way around it. People that make big money with ebay have well known, established sites that get a lot of traffic. When a average publisher starts pulling big conversions out of nowhere, you’ll get noticed.  (Keep in mind they can ban you for just smelling like shit, let alone having it on you). It’s easy to screw up something and get yourself caught if it’s not natural. You may be saying, Pofecker, I’m making big money with Ebay and it’s not going to stop, muahaha $$ !! (”Your time will come” would be my response). I’m in NO WAY saying that people are’nt making bank doing it BH (Blackhat), but their doing it the smart way.

You’ll never really know when your making too much, screwing up your ctr% or a affilaite finds your code. You’ll find the answer to this question before you get paid.  Sometimes WELL before you get your cookie cash. The people that are successful in stuffing in the long run, design the script themselfs or purchase one that gets updated.

Doing this the ’smart way’ involves a somewhat technical or fairly computer savy individual. If you think that affiliates don’t have spys watching you, your on crack. It’s their job to find you and the methods you use to cheat the system so they can correct the tracking and shut you down. Making the investment by purchasing a cookie stuffing script that gets updated and has a good reputation is paramount. There are good ones out there. Most purchased scripts have a method to use that works well with their ‘features’.

Your not going to jail for cookie stuffing.

Do it right the first time and use a script you designed or purchased.

Do your research before jumping into anything.

Another obstacle to overcome is the fact that most scripts don’t work all my themselfs. This is the majority, not all scripts. You will have to balance good fake traffic, refers, visiable code, ctr and more. It’s not always easy and can  be tricky to a newbie. Do yourself the favor and get a good scrip, it’ll return your investment 10x if it’s good. (If not more)
